WOW! where do I start? lots of time gone by. I have some great, new, news. I have another grandson!!! But before I tell you about him, I need to update you on a couple other things. My son got married to a wonderful girl. It was a forever kind of day!

The whole family together (yeah, I'm hugging my son with my neck, I know, weird but I was happy!
Poppy & Grammy
Speaking of Poppy,
I got to stay with her for 7 weeks in Oregon. Her mama was in the hospital on bed rest.

Her daddy did her hair, in the picture with the turquoise shirt....so cute!
things she loves

She is nicknamed "Honey Badger" for a reason

Now...Meet Loxxley Koa Kai Hebb
He was born at only 28 weeks old. He was without amniotic fluid for 7 weeks! I didn't know a baby could survive without any amniotic fluid. Somehow, this tiny, 2 lb. miracle babies' lungs were developed. He is pretty much breathing on room air with no oxygen. He is on a cpap machine which hopefully will be gone in a couple of weeks. I haven't got to hold & snuggle him yet, but soon & I can't wait! He's our little miracle! YAY! We didn't get one with Ollie darn it. but we're so thankful for our tough Loxxley. He's 8 weeks old today & hanging in there & growing. What a wonderful manifestation of love! kisses & hugs to my Loxxley & his mama & daddy.

1st time his mama held him

I sure miss this little man. This was our 2nd Christmas without him. My little Angel Ollie.
I love you forever

Tiffany's dear friend, Rachel, had her company make these special Ties to honor Ollie, my grandson who passed away. We are approaching the 1 year mark on March 24th & it is something we wish we never had to face. But thanks to friends who make our burden easier to bear.
Theses ties are so cute & perfect, especially for Easter. You can order here & read the story behind the Ollie Ties.
Praying for all the grandparents who love their grandchildren.
I love you.

Clothes for Poppy

I forgot these 3 outfits I made when she was just a
tiny little thing.

Clothes for Poppy

Here they are....a few summer dresses for Poppy. I'm not a very good seamstress but I love to sew. My grandmother was an amazing seamstress. Everything I know, I learned from her. I miss her.
So grandma Helen, these are for you!

I had to show a close-up of the button-hole. It's not that great but hey, I didn't have to unpick it this time.
I love these sweet little prints.
Especially the ladybugs & the birds.
Now the true test...will they fit?
I'm not sure, I wish I had my little Poppy close so I could test them myself but her momma will have to do that & take some pics for me. BTW, I got all these patterns off the internet...FREE. If you would like the sites I got the patterns from, just comment below & I'll send you the link. Have a beautiful day!

Handmade Gifts for those cute Grandkids

I love making things for my granddaughter, Poppy. I will be posting a few of the ideas every week.

I thought I'd give a few suggestions for a couple easy gifts for you to make for your grandkids. They can be for Valentines, Easter or just because. The first two are from this site:Love Birds & Chicksicles.
I made these last year for Christmas & my kids love them. This owl is a rice-filled Heating Pad. Kids love to hug this owl when they're sick or hurt or cold.
This chick is a small, rice-filled cooling pack, perfect for all those little scrapes & cuts.
A perfect, kid-sized Chick-sicle

These cards are from Martha Stewart

I will be making these cute sock dolls in the next few weeks (hopefully), I'll post pictures!
Please send me pics or ideas for gifts & I'll post them with a link to your page.
Thanks! Have a beautiful week~
